AIRA AIRA
The American Immunization Registry Association (AIRA) is a membership organization to promote the development and implementation of immunization registries as an important tool in preventing and controlling vaccine preventable diseases. The Association provides a forum through which registry programs, interested organizations and individuals and communities combine efforts and share knowledge that promotes registry activities as a resource for immunization information systems (IIS) and immunization programs.
 
American Pharmacist Association
The American Pharmacists Association, founded in 1852 as the American Pharmaceutical Association, represents more than 57,000 practicing pharmacists, pharmaceutical scientists, student pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and others interested in advancing the profession. APhA, dedicated to helping all pharmacists improve medication use and advance patient care, is the first-established and largest association of pharmacists in the United States.
 
California Distance Learning Health Network California Distance Learning Health Network
(CDLHN), a non-profit organization under the Graduate School of Public Health at San Diego State University, is a full-service producer, promoter, and provider of courses, programs, and materials for healthcare providers as well as the general public interested in health-related issues.

CDLHN is actively involved in:
  • Producing satellite broadcasts, videos, CD-ROMs, onsite trainings, and Web casts in both English and Spanish.
  • Promoting educational opportunities produced by CDLHN and its partners in healthcare education.
  • Providing convenient access to healthcare education in non-traditional settings via distance learning.
  • Raising awareness among diverse communities about the latest public health and safety issues through public health promotion and media relations.
 
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
The IZTA Network is funded by the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC/NCIRD) under Cooperative Agreement Number U66/CCU324035. NCIRD provides leadership for the planning, coordination, and conduct of immunization activities nationwide. CDC is one of the 13 major operating components of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), which is the principal agency in the United States government for protecting the health and safety of all Americans and for providing essential human services, especially for those people who are least able to help themselves.

Every Child By Two (ECBT) was founded in 1991 by Former First Lady of theUnited States, Rosalynn Carter, and Former First Lady of Arkansas, BettyBumpers. The organization's mission is to protect all children from vaccinepreventable diseases by raising parental awareness of the critical need fortimely infant immunizations, fostering the establishment of a systematicmethod to locate and immunize children, and providing convenient access toimmunization services into the future.

National Asian Women's Health Organization
NAWHO is a national non-profit health organization with a mission to achieve health equity for Asian women and families. Our goals are:
  • To raise awareness about the health needs of Asian Americans through research and education;
  • To support Asian Americans as decision-makers through leadership development and advocacy; and
  • To strengthen systems serving Asian Americans through partnerships and capacity building
  • Founded in 1993, NAWHO has served as a powerful voice for the health of Asian American women and families. We have provided research and information about the health of Asian Americans to the public health field, as well as critically-needed health education to the Asian American community. Through innovative programs and groundbreaking partnerships, NAWHO has broken the myth of the Asian American healthy model minority – improving breast cancer screening outreach, increasing awareness of diabetes risk, and closing the gaps in immunization coverage. Viewed as a results-oriented organization that is able to create innovative solutions and carry out new strategies for change, policy makers and opinion leaders have time and again recognized NAWHO as an effective leader in Asian American health.

The Immunization Action Coalition The Immunization Action Coalition
The Immunization Action Coalition, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, works to increase immunization rates and prevent disease by creating and distributing educational materials for health professionals and the public that enhance the delivery of safe and effective immunization services. The Coalition also facilitates communication about the safety, efficacy, and use of vaccines within the broad immunization community of patients, parents, health care organizations, and government health agencies.
 
TIDE TIDE
TIDE is part of an APA/SAM (Ambulatory Pediatric Association / The Society for Adolescent Medicine) project supported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), designed to enhance immunization delivery through education, research and critical review of the literature.
